ABOUT JACO VAN JAARSVELD
Jaco has spent most of his career in the Credit Industry where he held various C-suite roles in listed, non-listed and private equity owned entities. He has experience in banking, retail, insurance and consulting across all product verticals both locally and internationally. He has done two stints in Absa, one as Economitrist in the Absa Economic department and one as ‘Customer Value Management’ Head of Home Loans and Private Banking. The past 10 years saw Jaco primarily fulfil business restructuring roles at JD Group and Edcon before joining The Compuscan Group as part of the Scoresharp team where he was responsible for building a credit and financial services consulting business unit. In his current role at Experian, Jacogets to focus on his passion of using big data and advanced analytics to deliver customer experience enhancing strategies.
ABOUT DARLENE MENZIES
The World Economic Forum named Darlene Menzies one of the six Top Female Tech Entrepreneurs in Africa in 2017. She is a technology innovator and serial entrepreneur with 15 years’ corporate ICT experience in the banking sector. Since leaving corporate employment 20 years ago, she has established several successful technology businesses. She has firsthand experience of what it takes to start and grow scalable companies and understands the difficulties entrepreneurs have to overcome to do so.
